Hi gang…I have tried to join in this conversation before, but was unsuccessful…We’ll see if this gets through. I praise God for the wonderful mission week you had in Florida. You made us all proud…and especially God!!!! I am sorry that I will miss your testimonies on Sunday, but I will plan to catch your pictures and reflections later in the summer. Thank you for leading worship this week while I am in Iowa at a family reunion. I will be praying for you and know that God will use you to bless a bunch of people. Please understand how important you are to the life of this church. There is something called the “ministry of presence” and I can not begin to express to you what an inspiration you are to me, personally, when I see you sitting in the congregation to worship on Sundays. Please join me in seeking God’s will for this church and God’s vision for our witness and ministry to this community and the world. I need your input, I need your prayers, and I need your “coming along side me” as sisters and brothers in the Lord. You are an important key to unlocking the ministry potential of this place. I praise God for Jay and Alyson’s leadership with you. Keep them in your prayers in a big way, as well. I know that you do not have a reference point of comparison with other youth leaders since Jay is the only youth leader you have experienced, but take my word for it…We have the Best!!!!!!! I am so serious about all of us needing your prayers…prayers sustain us as your spiritual leaders and keep us covered under a blanket of spiritual protection, and help us to keep our ministry in line with God’s will….keep the prayers flowing!!!! I just wanted to say how proud I am of everyone for this past week. It is awesome to see all the hard work that was done and how everyone worked together to complete projects. Good stuff. Now we need to work hard on the fellowship hall to complete that! Looking forward to this coming week to see what we can do at church. <><
